The HR Manager/Corporate HR Leader is responsible to effectively support all employee related functions in the company. Manage all HR Coordinators/Admin utilizing using in-depth knowledge of company policies, benefits, and programs as well as communicating effectively with all team members.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. To lead and promote a fun, professional and exciting environment which supports the unique culture at Million Air

  2. Oversee daily workflow of the HR coordinators/admins.
  3. Employee development opportunities to educate employees on company policy, company standards, safety standards, benefits education, etc. at multiple sites throughout North America (US and Canada).

  4. Responsible for administration of 401k plans.

  5. Benefits administration and related functions associated with a self-insured benefits program.

  6. Provide guidance and leadership to the HR team and management; Lead resolution of employee complaints and conflicts.

  7. Lead workers comp claim management and incident investigation. Oversee the Employee Health and Safety Program.

  8. Oversee Non-DOT drug program for all business units.

  9. Manage the process for creating and maintaining Human Resources Standard Operating Procedures.
  10. Recruiting of Management and Executive roles; Oversee the organizations staffing process to ensure proper use of the Quality Selection Process, onboarding, and new employee training. Support hiring managers in recruitment efforts and employee selection.

  11. Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state and federal regulations including state unemployment, DOL, OSHA, and Affirmative Action Plan.

  1. Employee focus- naturally outgoing/extroverted

  2. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Products and ADP Workforce Now modules at an Administrator level.

  3. Understanding of HR principles and procedures

  4. Minimum 5 years of business experience with emphasis on HR functions, reporting and compliance, and employee liaison.

  5. Absolute confidentiality and high integrity. Must be reliable and dependable, and available for occasional evening/weekend employee issue resolution.

  6. Ability to exercise independent direction and judgement, and work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.

  7. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent critical thinking skills.

  8. Experience in a multi-company environment preferred.

  9. Ability to successfully manage the Human Resource Department.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is an exempt position.


Minimal travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Minimum 5 years HR principles and procedures experience

  2. HR degree preferred

  3. Prefer multi-site HR Management experience

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  1. Ability to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends

  2. Acceptable driving record

  3. Ability to pass a background check

  4. Zero tolerance drug free company
