This position is responsible for the effectiveness and economical management of resources to ensure the work is accomplished in accordance with customer maintenance programs, FAA regulations, administrative and technical requirements of those assigned under the Supervisor's span of control. The Production Supervisor duties may be delegated to a qualified individual in his absence but ultimate responsibility for those duties remains with the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities / Duties

  1. Provide oversight to ensure maintenance and documentation is in
  2. Assign maintenance tasks and
  3. Evaluate and estimate maintenance time and
  4. Provide oversight and co-sign with uncertificated
  5. Sign documents for the repair station as noted in the authorized to sign
  6. Coordinate maintenance plan with other
  7. Identify training needs, tools, and special equipment
  8. Ensures the responsible mechanic properly executes all necessary work
  9. Monitor and update flow plan as
  10. Supervise maintenance performed by un-certificated mechanics or personnelunfamiliar with the methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and
  11. Provide OJT to crew members as required. Ensure all parts and materials are ordered as required to maintain
  12. Maintain daily turnover reports for each oncoming
  13. Maintain the hangar and aircraft cleanliness at alltimes

  1. Proficient in the interpretation of blueprints, technical orders, test equipment used inthe work described above, and various aircraft components and
  2. Have working knowledge of computer software packages used within the
  3. Must be able to demonstrate a sense of leadership under all circumstances and conditions.
  4. Must be able to multi-task and manage workflows on multiple
  5. Must be able to work flexible hours including, nights, weekends, and
  6. Customer focus-naturallyoutgoing/extroverted
  7. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (Requires clean drivingrecord)
  8. Strong computer skills including Microsoft OfficeProducts
  9. Basic mathematicalknowledge

Reporting Relationships

This position reports to the Director of Maintenance

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50
  • Stand to greet customers during verbal exchanges, walk throughout the facility to interact with
  • Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and

Position Type and Hours of Work

This is an Exempt position. This position may require working evenings and weekends, and on company scheduled holidays.

Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma orequivalent
  2. Five (5) years' experience in heavy aircraft maintenance, including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity, or the demonstrated ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the
  3. Preferred valid Airframe & Powerplant
