Objective

Must have an A&P License - The Maintenance Controller will be a licensed A&P and will monitor aircraft due list and upcoming inspection using Traxxall, CAMP, Cescom, and Flight Docks for Part 135 fleet. Responsible for the overall resolution to maintenance issues.

The responsibilities and duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  1. Experience in sourcing and brokering aircraft preferred; Part 91 & 135 experience is a plus
  2. Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
  3. Aggressive with a drive to win • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  4. Exceptional ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks with close attention to detail
  5. Interacts effectively as a team member
  6. Maintains strict confidentiality in all cases involving client aircraft operations and when dealing with sensitive or security issues
  7. Flexibility to work with a non-standard schedule
  8. Promptly respond to quote requests, including outside of normal business hours
  9. Analyze schedules for fleet optimization / utilization
  10. Utilize industry experience to suggest improvements to sales, marketing, customer service and other business functions
  11. Perform coordination of services for contracted trips, including communication with flight operations, brokered operators, and vendors
  12. Ensure proper day-of-operation communications with clients including times outside of normal business hours
  13. Sourcing and negotiation of brokered / supplemental aircraft for Brokers, American Jet and Million Air
  14. Develop strong understanding of factors influencing charter pricing, including seasonality, competition, demand, aircraft capabilities, operating cost and sales channel
  15. Grow our retail customer base by targeting new clients through networking and sales outreach
  16. Utilize sales tools and drive our social media platforms to help attract and capture market share

  2. Able to work a flexible schedule and work on-call shifts in order to support the 24/7 nature of the flight schedule.

Reporting Relationships

Reports directly to the Director of Maintenance

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Position Type and Hours of Work

This is an Exempt position. This position may require working evenings and weekends, and on company scheduled holidays.

Travel

Some Travel is expected for this position.

Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications

  1. Airframe & Powerplant License.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  3. 3 to 5+ years of experience as a maintenance controller.
  4. Corporate aviation experience required.
  5. Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manual, operations. specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies & procedures
