We are seeking an experienced Sales Director who can execute and support a growing Sales function through our next stage of rapid growth. This experienced sales leader will follow our Sales strategic plan and will build and maintain customer relationships that are essential for growing the Aviation business. Reporting to the EVP of Global Development, the successful candidate will be strategic thinking, a team player and adept at effectively working across multiple functions and other business units within Million Air.

Responsibilities / Duties

The responsibilities and duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • You will be responsible for executing a strategic plan and building/maintaining customer relationships that are essential for growing the Aviation business.
  • Delivering high level presentations both internally and externally
  • Direct contact with customers and senior executives of corporate flight departments. Frequent traveling with a flexible schedule will be necessary to meet the traveling customer's needs and appointment opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through regular contact and outstanding customer service.
  • Generate ongoing sales reports to be submitted to the EVP during regularly scheduled sales efforts meetings. Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports will be used.
  • Understand all company's service offerings and clearly communicates them to clients and prospective clients. Educate clients on new offerings.
  • Coordinate with other managers/locations to increase sales. Cross selling other Million Air services when appropriate (maintenance/charter/other Million Air FBOs).
  • Attend trade shows, seminars, conferences, and industry training programs.

  • Customer Focus naturally outgoing/extroverted. Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and highly customer oriented.
  • Communicate with customers and employees in person, phone, and electronically.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products and data management

Reporting Relationships

Reports directly to the EVP, Global Development

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50
  • Stand to greet customers during verbal exchanges, walk throughout the facility to interact with customers.
  • Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Position Type and Hours of Work

This is an Exempt position. This position may require working evenings and weekends, and on company scheduled holidays.


Travel is expected for this position. Possible travel may include industry trade shows, sales opportunities, and assisting other locations.

Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • You have an ability to drive initiatives from start to finish, working both alone and within teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships.
  • Business to Business Sales/Service and Contact Center experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the aviation industry.
  • Must be highly organized and detailed.
  • High energy level and positive attitude.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work alone and in groups.
  • Team player with long-term company growth in mind.
  • Good listening skills - internally and externally.
  • Highly ethical business practices.
  • Willingness to travel for sales prospect meetings and customer growth.
